Angels Dwell in Paradise

Ever since I was a child, I was attracted to flowers. I would wander the fields, the woods and the streams by my home, collecting bouquets of bright and sweet smelling wild flowers. I was fascinated by the grasshoppers and crickets and even the spiders’ webs which glistened like spun silver in the sunlight upon the stems and leaves of of the native plants. I wondered who had created such beauty and I supposed that God must have a cadre of gardening angels whose role it is to spread joy in the world through heavenly horticulture.
